A young boy who befriends a young bird dog. Deciding to train the dog as a hunting companion, Lonnie spends his days out on the Tennessee countryside with him, and quickly learns that the dog has a mischievous streak, including, as the film title implies, a insatiable taste for biscuits. However, Lonnie's friend Text convinces him that the dog will come around, and the two boys work hard to try and turn him into a championship bird dog.
